Coloursome began on a road that wasn't planned.
A trip through Tamil Nadu's textile heartland took an unexpected turn south — through Ambur, Vellore, and Ranipet — where tanneries produce some of the finest leather in the world, largely unnoticed by the country that wears imported footwear by default.
Ten months of exploration, hundreds of samples, and relentless refinement later, Coloursome emerged. Three handcrafted leather footwear styles — the Heritage two-strap sandal, the Prime closed-toe clog, and the Bloom hand-woven slide — each built on a contoured cork-and-latex footbed with anatomical arch support, suede leather lining, and genuine leather uppers. Manufactured in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. Designed for the Indian woman who refuses to choose between comfort and character.
